乙型肝炎病毒(HBV)是引发肝硬化和肝癌等疾病的世界性流行病原体,全球2.96亿慢性感染者,对人类生命健康造成重大威胁。中国是乙肝大国,感染人数约7800万,且85%以上肝癌由慢性HBV感染引起,导致的肝癌相关死亡占所有癌症引起死亡病例的第二位,亟需开展基于乙肝治愈的相关基础和转化研究。
刘永振博士长期从事HBV相关研究,实验室利用分子生物学、病毒学、免疫学、化学生物学以及基因和蛋白组学等方法、结合体内动物模型研究乙肝病毒感染和致病机制。研究方向主要包括:
1)HBV感染和复制基础病毒学的分子机制研究;
2)HBV动物模型和抗病毒药物研发和评价;
3)慢性HBV感染致病的病理学基础和乙肝功能性治愈的免疫学机制;
